Sheesha

Sheesha was initially created as part of our installation "Myth and Material" that traveled to Paris and New York. Moroso later put them into production and launched them at Salone 09. The graphic diagrams show 5 ways to stitch mirrors onto textile, a process we used for the Charpoy range that was launched in 2007. The mirror work is used by rural craftspeople in India and it is said to deflect the evil eye.
