Villa Sarabhai

Villa Sarabhai, a commissioned miniature painting created in 2018 by Shammi Bannu Sharma in collaboration with Doshi Levien. The work brings together Krishna and Radha, Le Corbusier’s Villa Sarabhai and Doshi Levien’s limited-edition pieces, weaving mythology, modernism and contemporary design into a single narrative that moves across time.
“For me beautifully-made objects and things are a symbol of our existence and I find them very reassuring. They express human endeavour and creativity. I can’t rid myself of the love of objects.”
